Fianndogs are very special to us. They are our grand-puppies, and as breeders we are the ones responsible for determining the kind of life our puppies will have. We take that responsibility very seriously.

We make every attempt to find the most suitable home for each individual. This requires time, experience and a willingness to ensure we do not place our dogs in a situation that might be inappropriate for that individual or the family.

Our process of determing the most suitable homes is defined and repeatable, to ensure we don’t miss any details that could later be important. It is modified as appropriate to ensure the best outcome.

It all begins with an inquiry about a dog..... and follows these steps.

1) First we answer all the questions initally asked

2) Then, if the person is interested, we send a Questionnaire to the potential home via email (or snail mail)

3) Potential home fills out Questionnaire and returns it to Fiann via email (or snail mail).

4) We Review the Questionnaire, clairfy any answers, or explore more fully, as appropriate.

5) We proceed with a phone call between Fiann and prospective home if the information gathered in the questionnaire phase indicates that there is a potential match, and the prospecitve home agrees.

6) Fiann and prospective home mutually agree that the pup/litter under discussion would be appropriate, and agree to go forward.

7) Send Sales Contract (for review only) & Deposit Contract to potential home.

8) Potential home completes and signs Deposit Contract and submits it to Fiann with deposit.

9) Potential home listed in the queue, or guaranteed specified puppy, as applicable.
