Images of a Belgian Detective: Hercule Herc is affectionately name after Agatha Christie’s legendary Belgian detective Hercule Poirot (pronounced Air-kewl Pwa-roe). Like his namesake, his powers of deduction are derived from the use of his “little grey cells”. Successful cases include: “How many toys can I play with at once?” ,“Is there a bottom to this water bucket?", and most famous of all – “Where is the cat hiding?”. Many other characteristics are shared – dandified manners, theatrical presentations, love for the finer things in life, and perhaps some vanity. You have to expect a little egotism in one who knows he has no peer, n'est-ce pas?

Attributable Quotes: "It is my weakness, it has always been my weakness, to desire to show off." “I admit freely and without hypocrisy that I am a great man” “The new toy. I give it two, perhaps three weeks.”
